2010 Calendar of Events

To members of West Lutheran High School Association Congregation:

It takes many hands to keep a store this size running and to keep up with the bountiful donations. There are ways to volunteer your time and talents even if you cannot come into the store on a regular basis. Please check our list below to see if you can help with any of our needs. If you can, call Lanita Farstad, our Volunteer Coordinator at 612-310-5418.
  

In store-needs:
Can you help us on Tuesdays and Thursdays?

Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Wise Penny usually top the $1000 mark in sales because we are open until 6pm (two additional hours) on those days. If you look out into the parking lot after 4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, you will see that we are losing a number of customers who drive in to shop, pull up to the door to check the hours, and then leave.

Three teams of 3-4 individuals who would arrive at 3:30 and keep the store open until 6:00pm. It would hepl out customers who work until 5 and be a big boost to store sales. Please let Lanita know if you could be a part of one of these teams (612-310-5418).
