Tuesday evenings are a regular work night, so it's fine to just show up and work as long as you wish.
Thursday evening work nights do not occur (yet) every week. Please call Lanita at 763-658-2380 (home) or 612-310-5418 (cell) to be sure there will be a lead person at the store on a Thursday evening you wish to volunteer.

To members of West Lutheran High School Association Congregation:
It takes many hands to keep a store this size running and to keep up with the bountiful donations. There are ways to volunteer your time and talents even if you cannot come into the store on a regular basis. Please check our list below to see if you can help with any of our needs. If you can, call Lanita Farstad, our Volunteer Coordinator at 612-310-5418.

In store-needs:
Can you help us on Tuesdays and Thursdays?
On Tuesdays and Thursdays the Wise Penny is open until 6pm (two additional hours). We could use more help Thursdays for the 4 - 6 pm shift.
Can you help us on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays?
If you look out into the parking lot after 4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, you will see that we are losing a number of customers who drive in to shop, pull up to the door to check the hours, and then leave. Three teams of 3 - 4 individuals who would arrive at 3:30pm and keep the store open until 6:00pm would help out customers who work until 5 and be a big boost to store sales. Please let Lanita know if you could be a part of one of these teams (612-310-5418).

Month-end Changeover Help:
We are still looking for volunteers to be section leaders for the various areas of the store! A small commitment will make a big difference in our store's appearance!
We are asking that our volunteers sign up to be the responsible person for moving clearance items to the back, plus cleaning and organizing the remaining items on those shelves. Making your small shelf or section look appealing for the customers will help as we kick off a new month. If you would like to help or have questions please talk with Kari or Karla.
